We aim to share our knowledge and experience with beekeepers with all levels of experience. There are always opportunities to learn a new trick, a better or different approach to a problem or an important task, for example swarm control, or ideally, share your knowledge!

After the initial classroom theory sessions for the new beekeepers on the course we then have around 5 sessions on Sundays where we teach practical skills, lighting a smoker, manipulating frames, carrying out health inspections, and tasks such as a Bailey comb change or ‘doing a split’

After these sessions we then encourage the new beekeepers and all members to continue to come and learn or share knowledge.
