In winter, we enjoy a monthly series of talks on all aspects of bees and beekeeping: see the Events Calendar.

Yellow Legged Asian Hornet

Sightings of Asian hornets (Vespa velutina nigrithorax)  in the UK increase every year.

If they become established in the UK, many pollinators, including honey bees, will be decimated. Please use and share this ID sheet to help identify the Asian Hornet.

Updates from the National Bee Unit.

Please report sightings immediately via the Asian Hornet Watch app on Android and iPhone or the online form.
